Born and raised in NJ, I happily spent much of my career teaching English. It’s no secret that one of my greatest joys was teaching. I’ve often reflected on why that career made me so happy, and the simple truth is … I loved the students. I loved getting to know them, being a mentor, and teaching them skills that not only would help them pass a test, but to be successful in life. In the process, I’ve learned a great deal from them in return. Most especially, I’ve learned that hard work, tenacity, and a good sense of humor will help you achieve your goals.
I’ll admit leaving my career was bittersweet. But, I have absolutely no regrets and in reflection, the time to move forward was right. I’m very lucky to have the opportunity to tap into my creativity and do something I love …. storytelling.
I knew that becoming an author would be hard, and composing that first novel was not easy. But I stayed the course and I’ve created a series that I’m proud of. I would like to invite you to join me in my new life’s journey of storytelling and please reach out and let me know how I’m doing.
